My Little Colorers...

My boys sure love to color.  They can sit and color for the longest time and just sit and chat with eachother as they do.

Tristan's Jackolantern...

Today Tristan brought home a jackolantern from school.  He was very proud.  It is so cute.  I'm so glad he loves preschool.  They do a lot of fun stuff and learning stuff as well.  He also came home with a leaf paper that they colored 4 leaves and wrote the number 4.  He was able to tell us how to make a four even.  He is loving school and is mad about the days he doesn't get to go to school with Ethan.

Ethan Lost His 4th Tooth...

Ethan's 4th tooth was barely hanging on anymore.  He's been working on getting it out for days already.  Tonight, it was hanging to the side already it was so loose.  He asked last night if it came out at night if the tooth fairy would come and I had to tell him that the parents need to know to let the tooth fairy know.  So, tonight before bed, he asked if it counts after midnight and I said no because we won't know that he pulled it out then.  So, he went to bed a little after 8.  Well a bit ago he came upstairs and he had pulled his tooth out. :)  He was wondering if it was before midnight.  Kids, they remember so much it's unreal sometimes.  So, he said he had tied a string to his tooth(from his pirate bag) and tied it to the door and that is how he got it out.  He was so proud of himself and he just couldn't believe that it worked.  Pretty cute to listen to him.

Super September Saturday...

Saturday was a beautiful, beautiful day.  The boys had some fun playing in the sand with their toys before we headed out for a ride on the pontoon for the afternoon.  Ethan decided to do some of his reading on the pontoon too.  It was a super nice day.

Ethan Started Tae Kwan Do...

Ethan decided he wanted to be in Tae Kwan Do this year.  This was his first day of it.  He was pretty excited and couldn't quit talking about it for a long time before it started too.  They did some basics and he really liked it.  He just wanted to do what he learned all night long when we got home.

One More Sunday on the Water...

Sunday was a gorgeous day on the water.  There wasn't a breeze and it was so nice and warm.  The boys wanted to play in the water so we blew up their little pool and they had so much fun sliding and diving in over and over.  We went out on the pontoon with Danny, Paula, Papa Lonnie, and Grandma Carol for breakfast and many circles around the lake.  Dad got home early from drill for a change so the boys went for wave runner rides with him too.  Probably won't have many more of these gorgeous days so we had to get out and enjoy it.

Vroom, Vroom...

The boys went for a quick ride with Papa Lonnie and Grandma Carol in their new hot rod over to the shop before their motorcyle ride.  The boys sure think it's awesome to go for rides in it.

House Front Coming Along...

We're getting closer to being done with the front of the house changes.  We have the new front door in and the new garage walk in door in.  And we are done with the stone up to the garage door.  Then there is the filling in the cracks with the mortar left and we should be done.  Oh yeah, and wrapping the door frames in metal too yet.  Think that will be tan to match the windows.  But at least we're almost there.  Can't wait for it to be done.

Perfect September Evening at the Lake...

We got home from work and it was perfect outside so the boys wanted to go for a ride on the waverunner with Dad.  Ethan wanted to go for a tube ride too.  They had a lot of fun.  The water was like glass.  Then they decided to warm up in the hot tub.  The sprinklers had kicked on so they ran through the sprinklers over and over and back into the hot tub.  It sure was a wonderful evening outside.  It was pretty hard to get the boys inside to get cleaned up and homework done and into bed.

Setting up for Baby...

Monday after everyone left, the boys helped Dad put together the bassinet and crib for the baby.  They were very excited to get to help.  They can't wait for the baby to arrive.

Labor Day Pig Roast...

Rashad decided to have a pig roast for Labor Day.  Friday he went and got the pig and got it all cleaned up and in the freezer to cool off.  Friday night, they injected it with flavor.  Saturday morning they started the fire around 6am.  Around 12:30 they had it ready to bury the pig in the pit.  It then cooked until Sunday around 5pm when they lifted it back out.  It pretty much fell apart it was so soft.  It was really good meat.  There were a lot of people there to eat and we had lots of food as usual.
