Homework with Brothers...

Breckan was getting crabby this afternoon and Ethan didn't want to do his word lists for homework so told him to read to Breckan.  Well, as you can see, it worked like a charm in more way than one. :)  Ethan was willing to read his word lists and Breckan was into Ethan's papers and was content so had to take a few quick pics because it looked too cute.

Birthday Cake...

When we got back from Hawaii, Grandma Carol and the boys had made me a birthday cake and frosted it.  It was so pretty and they were so excited to show me.  Here are a few pictures.  (Thanks Mom!!)  We lit the candles and the boys blew them out for me. :)

Hawaiian Vacation...

We took a vacation to Hawaii with Chance and Kristen.  Well, or should I say we Honeymoon crashed. :)  We stayed at the beautiful Hale Koa right on Waikiki beach on Oahu for our time in Hawaii.  We did some relaxing in the sun, enjoyed some drinks while watching sunsets on the beach, hung our with Uncle Rich while he was there with us(thanks for staying longer to spend time with us, we really appreciated it a lot!), went to the Hale Koa luau with excellent food and entertainment, checked out Pearl Harbor and did the submarine tour and tour of the battleship Missouri this time which we had never done before, went on a dinner cruise and saw the fireworks from the water, did some shopping and walking along the beach, had Valentine's supper at the Hale Koa at Biba's, spent my birthday walking along the beach and doing a little shopping and had drinks along the way and then had supper at Hard Rock Cafe along with a birthday desert, and on the last day we drove around the island before heading to the airport.  Guessing I'm forgetting something that we did.  It was a nice trip.  We had decent weather, a bit windier and cooler in the evenings than we've had in Hawaii before but it was still great.  I only picked some of the pictures to put on here because there are WAY too many to do all of them on here.  But I do have them all on our Shutterfly family page so be sure to check them all out there.

I have them split out by the day of the week while we were there because there are just so many.  I'm hoping to come back and put a more detailed description of what we did on each day eventually on both sites so check back if you are interested later on.  Just trying to play catch up and get pictures posted of everything that has been going on.  It has been a busy, busy, busy few months. :)

Chance & Kristen's Wedding...

Chance and Kristen were married February 10th, 2012 in Bismarck at the Raddison.  It was a very beautiful ceremony, reception, supper and dance.  The boys all had their own little tuxes so they looked pretty cute if I may say so myself. :)  And they matched Dad pretty good so we took some family pictures all dressed up.  Even got the boys out dancing towards the end of the dance.  Thanks for the great time Chance and Kristen! Chance and Kristen's Wedding Rehearsal and Supper...

Breckan's First Cereal...

We tried giving Breckan his first rice cereal by spoon.  Well, I don't think he's quite ready yet. :)  He mostly pushed it back out with his tongue so we'll have to try it again later.

Super Bowl Party...

The boys had a super bowl party at our house.  Grandma Carol and Papa Lonnie, Grandma Vivian and Papa Tony, Danny and Paula, Ray and Barb and the Petersons came over for the party.  The boys had a great time playing with the Peterson girls.  They missed most of the game but had fun playing with toys, playing Wii, and dressing up and running around all night.  They were pretty tired boys till the night was over.  Thanks everyone for coming to the party!
